Jern Eye is an MC from Oakland who got his start as an artist performing with Spear Of The Nation and Khai Sharrieff in the group Lunar Heights. The release of their group effort, Crescent Moon brought them much local success but it was Jern Eye’s subsequent largely-self-produced solo debut album, Authentic Vintage that has spring-boarded him into the limelight. After that release in 2006, Jern Eye toured with underground mainstays such as Hieroglyphics and Living Legends, solidifying his solo career and reputation in the California and national scene. His sophomore release, titled Vision debuted on October 13 to much anticipation, signed to MYX Music this time around Jern Eye concocted an album with a star-studded lineup of producers such as Jake One, Illmind and Keelay and Zaire.
