The 13th volume of the Ultra Dance series might pass muster for casual fans of commercial dance music, but the mixing is poor, the selections date back a couple years, and some tracks -- Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends," for instance -- appear in original, not remixed, form. It provides a satisfactory selection of tracks from the past couple years, but the series was once more up to date and boasted decent DJ'ing. Among the more notable inclusions: Deadmau5's "Raise Your Weapon," Skrillex' "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites [Kaskade Remix]," Yolanda Be Cool's "Le Bump," Sak Noel's "Loca People," and Avicii's "My Feelings for You."
