In 1980, HIGH FIDELITY magazine called Solar Plexus "the most promising new jazz group of the year." A year later, Solar Plexus recorded a project that is only now, 30 years later, available to the public. The 4 previous "albums" featured music by the San Francisco Bay Area's finest musicians. The 3rd and 4th "albums" were with Inner City Records, voted "best jazz label of the year" in 1979 by DOWNBEAT magazine.
This jazz fusion project is "hot, hot, hot."
