All of it adds up to a richer experience, even if the score remains a little lightweight. After all, Goldsmith was providing music for a suspense potboiler, and all he had to do was match the music to the mood; even if he did so superbly (which he did), the music would likely feel a little lightweight (which it does), even with rousing, adventurous sections. Still, it's an enjoyable work that proves what a facile, agile composer Goldsmith can be. And, for all the Frank Stallone fans out there, his "Peace In Our Life" is added to the end of the album.
