Reaching for the Sky

by Ron Wynn Peabo Bryson's first great album and the vehicle that established him as a favorite of urban contemporary audiences. He was still officially working with Michael Zager's Moon Band. This was his Capitol debut, and the title track became Bryson's first R&B Top Ten hit. The album also went gold and signaled that it was only a matter of time before Bryson would split from the Zager band.
