Enlightenment - Music for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games

A wonderful musical opener to the London Paralympics. Highlights include the beautiful Handel piece with a vocal so pure it sounds like a finger on the rim of a glass, the amazing performance of Beverley Knight, and the funked-up version of the Ian Dury classic Spasticus Autisticus. The instrumental pieces such as Entry of the Flame are uplifting and inspiring, and the inclusion of the Hawking narration only makes it more moving in my opinion.
