The Best Of Fleetwood Mac
by Thom Jurek There isn't anything wrong with this collection of early Peter Green/Jeremy Spencer era Fleetwood Mac recordings. There are 12 cuts that highlight the extreme blues and atmospheric power of that band in the early days. As promised in the title, this is a collection. The problem is, there isn't anything particularly right with this disc. It is absolutely a mystery why anyone with a remote interest in this band's origins would want yet another rehash of the biggies since there are approximately 50 other comps with the same material, all priced in the same range and many of them with better cover presentation and liner notes. Save your money and go after something else instead.
