"Yesterday, When I Was Mad" is a single by UK Electronic music group Pet Shop Boys released as the fifth and last single from their 1993 album Very. The single peaked at #13 on the UK Singles Chart and #4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play charts. It is reputedly a parody of the bland artists and music of British producer trio Stock Aitken and Waterman in the late 1980s. The song was remixed by Jam & Spoon for its single release.
