Merry Christmas to You
One More Time is Melissa and Larry Beahm. They have been "on the road", pleasing audiences all over the United States, since 2007. OMT is full of great music, energy, laughter and joy. Melissa earned her Music Therapy degree from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. Although her soprano voice has most often been compared to Olivia Newton-John and Roberta Flack, Melissa uses her unique blend of vocal influences and stylings to create a sound all her own. What happens when you mix Harry Connick, Jr., with "Weird Al" Yankovic? Larry is responsible for most of the background output for the duo. His cornerstone is piano, and his years of classical lessons and graduation from the Bethlehem [PA] Conservatory of Music are the backbone of the accompaniment. All the drums, bass, and other orchestration you hear were meticulously recorded by Larry -- no store-bought karaoke! Some verbatim comments by people whose taste we can't help but admire: "It was such a different show [from] what they have been used to. I will guarantee you that we will inquire about having you back." "I used to own a nightclub in New York. I've seen about twenty-five acts here, and you're the best they've ever had." "We saw a lot of shows in Las Vegas and you are every bit as good as any of the warm-up acts." "I didn't know who you were but I won't forget you now!"
