Still I Love Him
Ewan MacColl may well be the most influential person in the current British Folk revival. A poet, playwright, activist and songwriter, he was committed to folk music throughout his life until his death in 1989. Featured here are one of the rare gems of the extensive MacColl catalogue, "Still I Love Him", a traditional love songs album recorded with Isla Cameron in the late fifties. The album also features musical accompaniment by Peggy Seeger and Ralph Rinzler, both on banjo and guitar.
