{Ghosts}
Horseman are Euan McBride (vocals, percussion, keys) and Stephen Toman (guitar, loops). Their first album, You, Me and the Deep Blue Sea, was recorded as it was written, with live vocals and acoustic guitar through two cheap mics onto cassette using a disintegrating Tasman MK488 portastudio, with overdubs limited to what else could fit onto the remaining 6 tracks (2 of which would only play back in reverse). Their latest album, {Ghosts}, was written over the course of a year in their rehearsal space. Drums and guitar were recorded live, in a single session, to the same portastudio (but new cassettes) and vocals and other overdubs were added during a second all-night session a few months later, during which several bottles of wine were consumed. All music was written, recorded and mixed by Horseman.
